WHY I DON’T USE PLASTIC

Microplastics are tiny pieces of plastic that have been found in water and food sources across the world. I went into a deep dive into microplastics when I had Theo and was shocked at just how many baby products are still made of plastic.

We've gone to great lengths to keep plastic out of Theo's diet and I wanted to share some of the top tips I've learned.

Here are some of my favorite plastic free products.
🍼 Dr Brown's Glass Bottles
🍼 Boon Nursh Bottles
🧸 Under the Nile Stuffed Animals
🪁 Lovevery Play Kits

FEEDING

Stoke Tripp Trapp High Chair: I didn’t feel that the infant attachment was necessary, but as soon as he was able to sit up on his own, we started him in this chair. I love the versatility of it because it grows with baby and can be used for years, plus many color options to go with your dining furniture.

Portable High Chair: Great for traveling. Folds up for easy packing and attaches to any table or counter - super sturdy. Great find.

Lalo Silicone Feeding Set: Complete Set with everything you need, all silicone (of course)

Once Upon A Farm is the only pouch on the market that requires refrigeration, meaning it’s REAL food. They also have frozen meals that are super easy to make for cooking challenged parents like me. Convenient + I can trust that anything from this brand is organic, healthy, and safe for my baby.

Kyte Baby Sleep Sack: So soft, comes in various TOG levels for temperature. I recommend a wipeable changing pad like this one, rather than one that requires changing covers that you have to wash. The mobile on this one is a good distraction during otherwise fussy diaper changes.

Nanit Light & Sound: Perfect addition to the Nanit family. I love how you can set different moods and customize lighting and sound. Very helpful in setting up baby and parents with a consistent sleep and wakeup routine. The light is so soothing, I actually want one for my own room.

Stokke Convertible Crib: This crib is gorgeous and grows with your baby, est ages 0-5

Canopy Diffuser: This waterless diffuser has safe and all natural aromas. It’s light scent is sensitive enough for baby, but just what you need to rid the room of that dirty diaper smell.

PLAYTIME

Beach Bucket: This silicone bucket is collapsible which makes it really easy to take out on the go

Water Play Table: This is plastic and totally goes against my personal aesthetic choices, but boy does he love it. We use it every afternoon and it keeps Theo busy for hours! I can relax outside while he entertains himself. A lifesaver.

Modular Play Couch: We know the importance of open-ended play, and this couch doubles as furniture and play time. We love to get creative in the couch - build a fort, a slide. As he gets older, he will be able to explore and imagine on his own.

Ball Pit: Another winner that also looks good in my living room
